An engaging 6-month internship is available for a driven and high-achieving student to join the Macquarie Asset Management team, specifically within the infrastructure investment sector. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment focusing on various areas such as Digital Infrastructure, Transport, Renewables, Utilities, Waste Solutions, and Social Infrastructure.
Your Role
As an intern, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team in our infrastructure investment division. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by contributing to significant projects. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Reviewing and executing investment opportunities
- Conducting financial analysis and modeling
- Engaging in asset management tasks
- Preparing presentation materials
You will be part of a compact team of 4-5 members, reporting directly to a Senior Manager, with the advantage of direct interaction with the Head of France. This structure allows you to benefit from their expertise and develop additional skills.
Key Responsibilities
In addition to project work, you will support the acquisition efforts of the business and assist with operational and portfolio management tasks.
What We Seek
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, including skills in valuation and modeling.
- Prior internship experience in M&A or infrastructure, preferably with an investment bank or fund.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet challenging targets with minimal supervision.
