Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Manager to join our team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our Corporate Real Estate team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting our EMEA real estate program, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with global and regional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent compliance with company policies and processes, including HR, Finance, Global Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, in the planning, development, and completion of all Real Estate activities.
  • Continuously identify gaps, review and improve processes and systems, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for existing and new CRE programs to improve overall client satisfaction.
  • Partner and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Global Procurement, Security, and Operations, and respond to and support customer questions and requests for services.
  • Management and oversight of the lease cycle, including planning of new contracts, renewals, relocations, and closures, including onsite support when required.
  • Assist with the development of accurate financial forecasting for the regional portfolio, management of site operational expenses, site capital planning, and development of annual functional budgets and metrics, providing recurring reports as required.
  • Collect decision-framing data, particularly data relating to occupancy, spend-to-date, and cost benchmarking, providing relevant and measurable metrics to track and guide the success of programs and projects.
  • Identify and effectively communicate project risks, develop executive-level summaries for projects and initiatives, and proactively communicate with relevant stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coordinate multiple and/or competing activities and assignments for efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business, real estate and property management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing tactical execution while maintaining a strategic focus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment, subject to frequently changing priorities, utilizing problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Ability to achieve desirable outcomes while remaining fiscally responsible.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units and other corporate functions to find the most effective and efficient solution.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Projects, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to be flexible with the work schedule to support a dynamic, multi-cultural, global organization.
  • Ability to travel (including internationally) up to 30%, with little notice to accomplish assignment responsibilities and lead key initiatives.
