About the RoleAs a Senior Risk Officer, you will be part of the Global Risk Analytics team, responsible for Market Risk monitoring and advisory of the GEMS Business Unit of ENGIE and its regulated entity EGM. You will work in a collaborative team that thrives in a dynamic, technology, and data-driven environment.
Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to excellence and innovation within the Risk Expertise center of GEMS. You will oversee the identification, assessment, and management of risks across all facets of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the board of directors, providing timely insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Mentor junior members of the team to foster their professional growth and ensure the continuity of expertise within the organization.
- Develop, enhance, and validate risk models, systems, and processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation, partnering tightly with Quant Risk & Front Office as well as IT teams.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a Master's degree in finance, risk management, or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership or senior management role is highly desirable.
Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and risk assessment techniques is essential. Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, and familiarity with databases and API are also required.
