Chief Concierge

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Concierge to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our hotel's services and amenities meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct the Concierge, Bell Desk, and Bell Staff teams, as well as Doormen, Valet Parking, and airport transportation requirements.
- Guest Information and Services: Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, local attractions, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours, and other relevant information.
- Food and Beverage Recommendations: Recommend the hotel's own Food and Beverage outlets to guests, with a thorough knowledge of the outlets' cuisine, operating times, and other relevant details.
- Lobby Maintenance: Ensure the lobby is always kept in an orderly fashion and that ashtrays are clean and tidy.
- Scheduling and Staff Management: Prepare efficient work and vacation schedules for Concierge, Doorman, and Bell Services staff, taking into account project occupancy and forecasts, as well as large group movements.
- Staff Performance and Development: Ensure that all Concierge, Doormen, Valet, and Bell staff are neat, clean, and punctual at all times, and that they perform their tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Handle guest problems and liaise with department heads or executive management in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
- Training and Development: Maintain a comprehensive, current, and guest-focused set of departmental standards and procedures, and implement them through thorough on-the-job training.
- Staff Performance Evaluation: Conduct probation and formal performance appraisal discussions, coach, counsel, and discipline staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief/Head Concierge.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to multitask and work under pressure, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
