Job Title: Senior Sports Data AnalystWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sports Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify critical insights and high-value opportunities. Your mission will be to:
- Partner with product and business leaders to scope out challenges and work collaboratively to find solutions to improve core KPIs
- Work with product owners to create AB test strategies that yield actionable results
- Proactively identify areas of friction for customers and work with stakeholders to improve the UX
- Feed into betting squad roadmap prioritization by leveraging your business knowledge to produce convincing analysis
- Work with stakeholders within the Betting team to enhance their oversight of performance with KPIs tailored to their needs
As a Senior Sports Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting analysis into product features that have been deployed and measuring their performance with recommendations for improvement
- Identifying areas of friction in players' UX on the app and recommending solutions to minimize it
- Working as part of the team to automate various trading decisions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of Data Analytics experience (internships included)
- A degree in a Quantitative field (Maths, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, etc.)
- Proactive anticipation of stakeholders' needs
- Business acumen and ability to understand business problems and produce analysis catered to their needs
- Excellent understanding of analytical methodologies and the process to deliver analysis
- Contribution to roadmap planning with concise projects that can add value to the team
- Excellent understanding of probabilities and applications to real-world situations
- Excellent understanding of statistics and deterministic modeling
- Good understanding of SQL with the ability to extract and manipulate data autonomously
- Curious and able to ask questions to understand problems
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
