Job Description

As a key member of the Central LOD1 NFR & Compliance team, the LOD1 Internal Control Apprentice will play a crucial role in supporting and supervising the 45 Ayvens subsidiaries on non-financial risk management issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the execution of various projects to improve Ayvens' LOD1 Internal Control system, including the implementation of the Activity-Process-Risk-Control (APRC) framework & methodology, Level 1 Controls' library definition & update, and Level 1 Controls' deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a study specialization in Audit/Risk/Internal Control and a strong understanding of the main principles of operational risk & permanent control. They will also possess excellent Excel skills, with advanced knowledge of PowerBI and SharePoint. The successful candidate will be able to analyze and synthesize complex information, think critically, and propose innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

The LOD1 Internal Control Apprentice will work closely with the LOD1 Functional Owners, LOD1 Internal Control Coordinators, L2C teams, LOD3 teams, and SG Group supervisors to ensure the effective implementation of the LOD1 Internal Control system. They will also contribute to the preparation of various Level 1 reportings for the different stakeholders in Ayvens and the Société Générale Group.

Requirements
  • Study specialization in Audit/Risk/Internal Control
  • Understanding of the main principles of operational risk & permanent control
  • Excel: advanced level; PowerBI and SharePoint: beginner/intermediate level
  • Risk sensitivity, attention to details, responsibility
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Open-mindedness & pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
  • Good level of English (both oral & written)
