We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software modules, services, and sub-systems in the area of multi-physics.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement software modules, services, and sub-systems in the area of multi-physics
- Interact with Finite Element kernels
- Understand and employ best practices
- Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products
- Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience
- Working experience in technical software development via academic, research, or industry experience
- Good understanding and skills in C++ and Python programming
- Problem-solving oriented
- Understanding of physics (mechanics, electronics, or fluid mechanics)
- Technical knowledge and experience with Finite Element simulation, CAD modeling
- Passion for crafting robust and efficient code
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
