About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at MPH Groupe. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the design and implementation of instrumentation systems for our LNG projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement instrumentation design strategies that meet project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process, safety, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.
- Review and verify EPC contractor deliverables, including P&IDs, vendor data, and instrument data sheets.
- Provide technical assistance and oversight during commissioning, start-up, and operation phases.
- Ensure that instrumentation equipment is commissioned and started up in accordance with detailed engineering documentation and vendor recommendations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including instrument data sheets, P&IDs, and other relevant documents.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and PR studies to ensure the safety and reliability of instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical input to contractual discussions with EPC contractors and vendors.
- Contribute to the development of digital plant models and ensure data management is centralized and efficient.
- Participate in vendor technical evaluations and provide expertise on instrumentation and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of REX and Lessons Learned reports.
- Contribute to personnel skills improvement and knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Instrumentation Engineer with over 10 years of experience in large onshore plant detailed design.
- Proven experience in EPSCC and operation stages of LNG projects.
- Good teamwork and management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of project development in Oman and Omani norms and standards is an advantage.
