Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns in betting behavior.
  2. Develop and implement mathematical models to optimize risk management and improve pricing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure constant innovation in risk management products.
  4. Participate in monitoring and optimizing risk management processes to recommend improvements and best practices.
  5. Investigate issues by troubleshooting, analyzing codebases, and inspecting logs.
  6. Act as a second level of technical support to the in-house Trading team.
  7. Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data to inform risk management decisions.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Experience in the sportsbook industry, with a strong understanding of trading issues and betting concepts.
  3. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex risk management concepts to developers and traders.
  5. Experience working with quantitative models and mathematical concepts.
  6. Backend technology experience, including reading and understanding of backend codebases.
