About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead DBA NoSQL Expert to join our team at Docaposte. As a key member of our Database Administration team, you will be responsible for the operational management and expertise of MongoDB, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to developers and operations teams
  • Administer NoSQL databases, including Elastic Search, MongoDB, and Cassandra
  • Utilize tools such as Monyog, Xtrabackup, PMM, Cloud Control, and SSMS
  • Design and implement automation solutions for administrative tasks
  • Manage the Production Recovery Area (PRA) and ensure business continuity
  • Perform homologation and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools
  • Collaborate with project managers to model data and assist with design
  • Centralize technical modification requests and data access requests
  • Establish operational procedures
  • Participate in security projects
  • Ensure production uptime

Technical Environment

We have a dynamic technical environment with:

  • Approximately 15 physical and virtual servers
  • Windows environments (Win7/XP)
  • Linux environments (RHEL, Centos 7/6/5, Ubuntu 16/14/12)
  • AIX environments (7.2/7.1/6.1/5.3/5.2)

NoSQL Databases

We have:

  • Approximately 20 Elastic Search clusters
  • Approximately 10 MongoDB clusters
  • Approximately 20 Cassandra clusters

Datacenters and Network Infrastructure

We have:

  • 4 interconnected datacenters
  • 10 redundant network connections
  • 7 internet access points (5 FAI and 2 IX) across 4 datacenters with a total internet bandwidth of 56Gbps
  • Approximately 15 public IPv4 addresses and over 34 billion IPv6 addresses
  • Firewalls deployed in datacenters
  • Switching infrastructure (Juniper/Cisco) with EVPN (Juniper) and ACI (Cisco)
  • Routing infrastructure (Juniper/Cisco) with BGP and OSPF
  • Firewalling infrastructure (Fortinet/Check Point/Cisco ASA/F5/Juniper) with virtualization (VDOM, VSX, Context)
  • Load-balancing infrastructure (F5 Big-IP)
  • LAN/WLAN infrastructure (Cisco/DNA/Juniper)
  • Monitoring tools (LibreNMS/Zabbix/Centreon/PhPIPAM/Efficient IP/Gigamon)
