Job Summary
The Senior SCM Engineer will be responsible for managing the procurement of complex engineered materials and services for Oil & Gas projects. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for complex projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services within budget and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, QC, and HSE, to ensure all requirements are met.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation to suppliers, and conduct commercial negotiations to secure the best deals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on complex engineered materials and services.
- Strong technical knowledge of Oil & Gas projects and industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
