The Lifeguard - Pool Safety Expert will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in and around the hotel's swimming pools, beaches, or other aquatic facilities. This role requires a high level of vigilance, knowledge of water safety, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pool and Aquatic Area Monitoring
    • Supervise all swimming and water-related activities to ensure guest safety.
    • Regularly scan the pool and surrounding areas to identify any hazards or potentially dangerous situations.
  • Enforcing Safety Rules
    • Enforce hotel and pool rules to prevent accidents and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
    • Provide guidance and information to guests about water safety and proper pool usage.
  • Emergency Response
    • Act immediately and appropriately in the event of an emergency, such as a drowning or injury.
    • Administer first aid or CPR if necessary and coordinate with medical professionals or emergency services when needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Ensure that all lifeguard equipment, such as rescue tubes, first aid kits, and AEDs, is in good working condition.
    • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, helping with pool amenities, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
    • Address any guest concerns or complaints related to pool or water activities in a professional manner.
  • Training and Certification
