Accounting Specialist

Körber Pharma is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to support finance-related activities, including reporting to the group and audits. In this role, you will work closely with the local management and the group finance team.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Setup and maintain in-house accounting systems, including the takeover of financial service providers and independent processing.
- Conduct thorough checks and account assignments in accordance with commercial and tax law aspects to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Regularly reconcile accounts and clarify open items to ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile settlements between affiliated Group companies and support the creation of intercompany invoices.
- Control, process, and pay travel expense reports in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute payment transactions, as well as maintain liquidity control.
- Implement effective receivables management and coordinate the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare documents for annual tax returns, in collaboration with the tax advisor.
- Transfer local accounting to the German group and prepare reports according to HGB, as well as prepare all necessary reports.
- Coordinate tax matters with the local tax advisor and Group Tax, and communicate with auditors and tax advisors.
- Completed commercial training or studies in business administration.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within an international group of companies.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with work experience in English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and travel expense law.
- Proficient in the MS Office package and possessing strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- Structured process and goal orientation, with a high level of responsibility and cost awareness.
