Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in France. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of technical parts, analyzing spend, and driving cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities- Execute supplier selection, monitoring, and validation of negotiation/e-auctions and POs for mills/sites
- Develop and maintain a supplier panel, including suppliers from new developing countries
- Monitor contract compliance and deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets
- Assist Lead Buyer with necessary analyses, including spend data analysis, performance reporting, price benchmarks, and supplier profile
- Mechanical technical background
- Master's degree in Economics, Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain
- Successful track record in Procurement or mechanical engineering, with knowledge of main suppliers' panels for mechanical products
- Well-developed commercial feeling, with 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis an asset
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a good ease facing numbers
- Good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems, as well as project management and negotiation
- Strong personality/leadership and communication skills, with an appetite for finding information on innovative industry trends and market analysis
