Data Governance Expertise

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Criteo's next phase of data governance architecture, aligning with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with legal experts to develop public policy statements and engage with regulators to establish Criteo as a thought leader in data governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust data security and privacy architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and privacy measures seamlessly into our products and services.
  • Assess and enhance data protection mechanisms to address emerging threats and technologies.
  • Provide insights and guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to inform policy development.
  • Represent Criteo's interests in policy discussions and advocate for regulatory frameworks that support innovation while safeguarding user privacy and data protection.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and subject matter expert on data governance matters for external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials to promote understanding and compliance with data governance policies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers and stakeholders to amplify our message and reputation in the market.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and standards-setting organizations to contribute to the development of data governance frameworks and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership role overseeing data governance, privacy, or security initiatives within the ad tech or digital advertising industry.
  • Expert knowledge of global data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements and business objectives into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners at all levels.
  • Proven track record of thought leadership, including public speaking engagements, publications, and contributions to industry forums and working groups.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience building and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
