Holcim is seeking a skilled and versatile Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at our Brest site.

In this role, you will play a vital part in the efficient operation of our quarry, ensuring the smooth extraction, processing, and delivery of materials.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy machinery for tasks such as excavation, material transport, stockpiling, and customer loading.
  • Transport raw materials to designated areas within the quarry.
  • Conduct quality checks on extracted materials.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and facilities.
  • Adjust operational settings to optimize performance.
  • Utilize internal software systems for documentation and record-keeping.
  • Manage weighing scales and customer interactions as required.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment.
  • Valid CACES C1 R certification (formerly CACES 4 R) is essential. Possession of CACES FR certification is an advantage.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency in basic office software applications (Excel, Word).
