Optimus Life Sciences is seeking an experienced CQV Engineer
We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of our downstream processing equipment, including filtration and purification systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment is installed and operating correctly
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Document test results in relevant test/commissioning documents according to GDP
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Coordinate field activities of vendors and contractors
- Attend and lead daily commissioning morning meetings on site
- Attend relevant project meetings
- Arrange daily work permits
- Perform IQ/OQ of Upstream and Downstream equipment/instrumentation
- Organize execution of safety measures (Loto, etc.)
Requirements:
- University degree in pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology, or process engineering or comparable subject
- 5 years of professional experience in commissioning under GMP, preferably with process systems and process equipment in production areas in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological environment
- Experience working with upstream/downstream manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work with different departments
- Independent and proactive approach to hands-on activities
- Fluency in English and French
