We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Architect to join our team at Amadeus.
As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for guiding the evolution of our application architecture and toolchain, ensuring that our systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with our business strategy.
Your primary focus will be on leading our team of experienced software architects, SAFe System Architects, Principal Engineers, and Software Developers in our application evolution from monolith to Microservices and from on-premise to the Cloud.
You will work closely with our Enterprise Architects to refine, maintain, and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision, ensuring that it aligns with Amadeus' Enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide a team of experienced and independent engineers to drive our application architecture and toolchain evolution
* Refine, maintain, and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision
* Work with the System and Solution Architects of the ARTs to transform the vision into an executable enabler backlog
* Establish a process to align architecture decisions within and outside of RDT
* Collaborate with TTA to contribute to Amadeus Architecture evolution
* Manage technical dependencies in cooperation with Platform and Operations
Requirements:
* Strong software architecture skills and experience in leading teams
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to collect, maintain, and organize knowledge to help develop new opportunities and to support better business decision-making
* Innovative or open to considering alternative perspectives
* Ability to manage effectively critical relations with stakeholders and key players
