We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our team at Worldline. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data protection and privacy compliance across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report on data protection and privacy compliance across the organization, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and laws.
- Develop and implement effective data protection policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with global best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection and privacy considerations are integrated into all business activities.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on data protection and privacy matters, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulatory developments, ensuring our organization remains compliant and ahead of the curve.
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring our data protection and privacy practices are robust and effective.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, and other organizations.
- Provide strategic advice and support to senior leadership on data protection and privacy matters, ensuring our organization's interests are represented.
- Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
- Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and oral communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent our organization effectively.
