Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Maintenance Manager to oversee our glass tube production facility. In this role, you will be tasked with effectively coordinating and executing maintenance operations on our machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance division and coordinate mechanical adjustments of machinery during production transitions.
- Ensure all machinery components adhere to established standards.
- Oversee the electronics team and validate equipment integrity through thorough inspections.
- Implement necessary corrective measures.
- Monitor equipment adherence to regulations and maintain communication with governing bodies.
- Contribute to the formulation of the investment budget and suggest enhancements in productivity and technology.
- Supervise subcontractors for cleaning, maintenance, and mechanical components.
- Organize response actions for equipment failures based on production needs.
- Coordinate activities following maintenance requests from the workshop.
- Approve technical changes in collaboration with the production team and notify logistics of planned equipment downtimes.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing setting, ideally in the glass sector.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage priorities.
- Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken.
