NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the EU-funded project PRIDA Digital Africa II, seeking individual experts to support the African Union Commission (AUC) in accelerating the implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (AU DTS) at the continental level.
Key Expert 3: Senior Internet Governance/Artificial Intelligence ExpertThis assignment requires a Senior Internet Governance/Artificial Intelligence Expert with a minimum of 330 working days. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Public Policy, or Emerging Technologies.
Key qualifications include:
- Advanced level English or French (at least C1) and proficiency in other official languages of the AU (minimum B2)
- Knowledge of the Africa digital landscape, including global governance organizations and forums, digital and data governance processes, and emerging technologies
- Experience working with government agencies, regulatory bodies, or international organizations related to ICT
- Working experience with international stakeholders and governments, preferably in Africa
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Internet Governance domain, including developing training materials and online content for capacity building
- Experience in the Artificial Intelligence field is preferred
