About the Role

Euronext is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Apprentice to join its Statistics and Analytics team in Paris. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with internal clients and other team members to deliver valuable insights from market data, statistics, analysis, or advanced studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, quantitative finance, economics, or a related field, with a passion for data analysis and finance. You will be responsible for building a close relationship with internal clients, understanding their business challenges, and proposing data analytic services. Additionally, you will contribute to answering external stakeholders' data requests, build and maintain automatic reporting systems, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics and reporting within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in close collaboration with internal clients and other team members to deliver valuable insights from market data.
  • Build a close relationship with internal clients and adopt a proactive posture by understanding their business challenges and proposing data analytic services.
  • Contribute to answering external stakeholders' data requests.
  • Build and maintain automatic reporting systems controlled by the team to enforce data self-service for recurring data requests or proactively send data to internal/external clients.
  • Active contribution to the continuous improvement of data analytics and reporting within the team and support to the team in projects and daily tasks.
Requirements
  • Final or penultimate year student with a degree in computer science, quantitative finance, economics, or another quantitative field.
  • First experience in data analysis and/or finance is a plus.
