Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Belcan Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods and process planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.
- Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Analyze products and processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains.
- Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 6S principles.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required for tasks and areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in engineering or a related field with proven skills.
- Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent cognitive and analytical skills, as well as reading and writing skills.
- Strong computer background, organizational, planning, and typing skills.
- Effective communication and human relations skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
