ROLE OVERVIEW:
Contributes to the development of Men's Ready-to-Wear collections focusing on product assortment, pricing, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
COLLECTION STRATEGY
- Engages in the formulation of the collection strategy by analyzing brand value, historical sales data, and market competition.
- Tracks retail performance across categories and regions to inform the design product briefing effectively.
- Collaborates closely with the Central Sales Merchandising team to collect qualitative insights from various markets.
- Creates comprehensive reports on showroom performance (Sell In) and end-of-season evaluations (Sell Out Retail) to aid in the product briefing for future collections.
COLLECTION MONITORING
- Works in tandem with Development to ensure that the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system reflects the range plan accurately.
- Oversees collection development tracking tools to facilitate product follow-up with senior leadership.
PRICING STRATEGY
- Assists in establishing pricing strategies aligned with the brand's positioning and targeted profit margins.
PRE-BUY PLANNING
- Contributes to the pre-buy process as part of the seasonal demand forecasting.
SALES CAMPAIGN SUPPORT
- Prepares essential buying tools prior to showroom presentations (line sheets, collection outlines, exit lists).
- Aids in the creation of commercial visuals for product training and e-commerce photography.
- Supports the development of training materials for Retail and Wholesale teams during showroom events.
- Keeps Merchandising documentation updated throughout the buying campaign.
TRAINING INITIATIVES
- Delivers content and assists in training initiatives for Retail regions to ensure effective product and collection rollouts in stores.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to the Merchandising Manager for Men's Ready-to-Wear.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Proficient in Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
- Possesses strong analytical capabilities and a keen sense of fashion.
- Exhibits excellent communication and collaborative skills.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent contract.
