We are seeking an experienced Business and Legal Affairs Executive to join our growing French Originals initiative at Netflix. This role will be based in Paris and will focus on supporting the development and production of Netflix original content in French language.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate production and acquisition deals for programming with third-party local partners or directly with talent and representatives.
- Oversee business and legal affairs matters during production, ensuring compliance with Netflix's objectives and strategies.
- Develop and execute on Netflix's strategy to bring local content to our global streaming platform.
- Collaborate with creative partners to structure content production and acquisition agreements.
- 7+ years of broad-based entertainment experience in France, with both legal and business aspects of production and distribution.
- Direct experience structuring, negotiating, and drafting agreements for commissioning and development of film and television content.
- Thorough knowledge and practical experience of guild/union clearance.
- Knowledge of the European film and TV distribution/production landscape.
- Fluency in English and native French.
