Job Description

Arabelle Solutions is a leading provider of innovative technologies and services for the nuclear industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our team in a key role that will contribute to the success of our business.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a global portfolio of patents, drafting patent applications, and representing Arabelle Solutions in patent offices around the world. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and other professionals to drive innovation and protect our intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the patent application process, including drafting and filing patent applications with patent offices in Europe, the US, and Asia.
  • Conduct patent research and analysis to identify potential infringement risks and opportunities for patent protection.
  • Work with external patent counsel to develop and implement patent strategies that align with Arabelle Solutions' business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize patent-related projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patent offices and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective patent protection.
Requirements
  • Law degree and admission to the bar in a European jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in patent law, including experience with patent offices in Europe, the US, and Asia.
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in French considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with patent management software, such as ANAQUA.
  • Experience as a European patent representative with the European Patent Office.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions quickly, with a strong focus on results.
Location

Arabelle Solutions is a global company with operations in multiple countries. This role is available in Sweden, Finland, Poland, or Hungary.
