ADMR and UDAF collaborate to provide essential support to individuals with psychosocial disabilities residing in shared homes. As a Home Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Your Responsibilities as a Home Care Assistant

  • Provide a warm welcome to new residents and assist them in settling into their new environment.
  • Offer support with daily tasks and encourage active participation in various activities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of shared living spaces.
  • Promote personal hygiene and provide assistance with healthcare needs as required.
  • Contribute to meal planning and preparation.
  • Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for residents.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards individuals with disabilities.
  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently and adapt to changing situations effectively.
  • Have a thorough understanding of ethical guidelines and professional boundaries.

Requirements for the Position

  • DE AMP or DE AES qualification.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with psychosocial disabilities.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations regarding individual rights and freedoms.
