We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Micro-architect and Performance Modelling Engineer to join our team at Arm's Sophia Antipolis Design Centre. As a key member of our CPU Performance Analysis and Modelling team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of technology and collaborating in the development of next-generation processors.
ResponsibilitiesAs a CPU Micro-architect and Modelling Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include defining and studying possible micro-architectural improvements targeting next-gen CPU products. You will work closely with the design team to implement performance and efficiency features in an internal micro-architectural performance model, and analyze the resulting performance data on a wide range of available benchmarks.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvements of our performance analysis methodology, seeking optimal engineering efficiency.
Requirements- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering
- Programming skills (C or C++)
- Understanding of the fundamentals of CPU architecture
- Habits of Linux environment
- Good English interpersonal skills
- Experience in CPU or System modelling
- CPU performance analysis / benchmarking
- Compilers and code generation techniques
- Scripting skills in Python
