The CDMO unit comprises over 1,000 employees across seven locations in Europe and the USA, positioning itself as a leader in the rapidly expanding CDMO market, utilizing advanced technologies such as chromatography, hazardous chemistry, cryogeny, and flow chemistry.
This unit offers CDMO solutions for:
- Small molecule APIs and intermediates for pharmaceutical innovators,
- Natural-based products and biomolecules for pharmaceuticals and cosmetic ingredients,
- Small molecule active ingredients and advanced intermediates for agrochemicals and fine chemicals.
Role Summary
To strengthen our marketing team, the CDMO Business Unit is seeking a Lead Marketing Strategist B2B on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing and collaborating closely with the Operational Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and assessing the marketing strategy that promotes our value proposition and supports our global sales initiatives.
As the Lead Marketing Strategist, you will be pivotal in crafting and executing our marketing approach. You will engage with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and product development, to create and execute marketing plans that align with our corporate objectives. Your expertise will be essential in enhancing our brand visibility, generating leads, and driving our growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our CDMO offerings.
- Work alongside Sales to adapt global strategies and marketing plans into regional initiatives, fostering market awareness and business development.
- Ensure effective utilization of all relevant marketing channels.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, perform competitive analysis, and understand customer needs.
- Assist in planning industry events, conferences, and webinars in collaboration with the Communication Project Manager, Events & Social Media.
- Monitor and evaluate marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications
You possess a marketing degree and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B marketing within the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
You have a proven history of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Your expertise includes proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
You are capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
You thrive in a technical setting and have demonstrated your ability to navigate complexity.
You possess strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
Your approach is solution-oriented.
You are comfortable working in an international context and communicate effectively across all organizational levels, with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
You have excellent presentation skills.
