The CEA is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a PDI Library Developer. As a member of our newly created PDI team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the PDI library, a cutting-edge data analysis library designed for high-performance computing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop core functionalities and new plugins for the PDI library
- Develop the Deisa library, a key component of the PDI library
- Provide user support and training for the PDI library
- Organize training sessions for the PDI library
- Library packaging and deployment
- Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 and above)
- Software engineering and library design expertise
- Experience with modern development environments (Linux, git, CMake, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (writing, presenting, and training)
- Ability to work effectively in an international team environment
- Data analysis libraries such as Dask
- Knowledge and experience with Python, Fortran, and/or GPU computing
- HPC and parallel libraries such as OpenMP and MPI
- HPC parallel IO libraries such as HDF5 or NetCDF
- Experience with supercomputer tools (slurm, sbatch, etc.), packaging, and deployment
