YOUR ROLE
You will be an integral member of the Mobility Financial Control team, reporting directly to the Mobility Global Finance Controller. Mobility represents one of Edenred's Business Lines, generating annual revenues exceeding 500M€ and operating in over 15 countries.
You will serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Mobility controllers in various countries regarding all matters related to IT expenses and capital expenditures. Additionally, you will oversee the month-end closing process and the management of central Mobility Business Line costs.
Moreover, you will assist the Mobility management team in standard financial activities such as monthly business reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and the three-year strategic plan concerning IT and central Business Line expenses.
Main responsibilities include:
Management of IT expenses and capital expenditures: Foster a ROI-driven culture to align with defined Group strategic objectives. Collaborate with the CTO of the Business Line to provide transparency into IT expenditures, facilitating Tech Business Reviews on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis. Aid in establishing a comprehensive IT cost, resource, and capital expenditure monitoring framework for the Business Line entities, enabling tracking of costs per individual projects against forecasts and budgets. Ensure meticulous oversight of IT spending, resources (FTEs), and capital expenditures across local, regional, and global costs to maximize ROI and prevent cost duplication. In collaboration with Tech Finance teams, ensure clarity regarding chargebacks to various Business Line entities, promoting efficiency in Group spending and avoiding redundant costs or contracts. Act as the sole point of contact for Tech finance teams, offering insights into IT expenditures and their trends. Support different entities in preparing presentations for Investment Committees, acting as the intermediary among stakeholders (Finance, DMS, Global Tech, entities). Oversight of central costs for the Business Line: In partnership with accounting teams, ensure adherence to monthly closing schedules, guaranteeing timely cost reporting. Conduct prompt analyses to verify result accuracy, identifying root causes for discrepancies between budget/forecasts and actual outcomes. As part of the Group's routine, ensure precise forecasting of central costs for the Business Line. Provide internal stakeholders with visibility into their actual team costs compared to budgets, along with suitable explanations for any variances.YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience in management control or finance business partnering roles, ideally within a multinational corporation. Strong understanding of Accounting and IFRS standards. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and IT tools. Familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team and navigate a matrixed, multicultural environment. Quick learner with the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders. Able to challenge and also partner with the local management team. Fluency in English and French (both spoken and written) is essential. Strong communicator, capable of transitioning between a broad overview and detailed analysis.EXPECTED START DATE
