Your Work EnvironmentThe AXA Group headquarters serves as the hub for our corporate activities, providing guidance and support to our subsidiaries worldwide. This center is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Group's global strategy, ensuring the application of its standards, consistency in commercial approaches, and the sharing of best practices. With approximately 1000 employees from 45 nationalities, our headquarters offers a rich and stimulating work environment.
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a CAT Life & P&C Executive in the Group Underwriting Office/Ceded Re/Placement & Underwriting department, you will be responsible for structuring and placing the Group cover on Life risk, contributing to the management and animation of AXA Property Pool scheme, and working on cross-functional projects for the Underwriting & Placement of CAT Group Protections. You will report to the Head of Reinsurance Underwriting & Group Protections – CAT.
Main Accountabilities- Prepare the underwriting committee to underwrite AXA subsidiaries Life Risk in collaboration with the representatives of AXA local entities.
- Structure and place programs for the Life Group cover in compliance with Group Risk and appetite, in collaboration with the actuarial departments (analytics, reserving, and risk management) and support functions.
- Participate in the management and coordination of underwriting activities, reporting, and administration of the AXA Group Property Pool.
- Engage or initiate on transversal projects, operational, and governance topics in collaboration with support functions teams.
We seek an individual with technical skills in Life Insurance/Reinsurance and ideally Property, familiarity with risks analysis, underwriting, and contractual documentation, and organizational abilities to manage administrative tasks. Soft skills include analytical skills, ability to balance autonomy with teamwork, initiative, adaptability, effective and clear communication, and the ability to interact with various stakeholders, both external and internal.
