We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de l'Essonne. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct technical site visits and audits to identify automation opportunities
- Assist in the setup of measurement points and actions on installations
- Develop functional analyses and point lists to ensure efficient automation solutions
- Program PLCs and configure routers, gateways, and other communication protocols
- Design and develop user interfaces (UI/UX) for Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Test and commission PLCs to ensure seamless automation
- Monitor data flow from PLCs to the BMS to optimize system performance
- Provide maintenance and support for automation systems after project completion
- Contribute to continuous improvement through assessments and recommendations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A technical or engineering background in Electrical Engineering focused on Automation
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in project execution
- Knowledge of multi-technical systems such as HVAC, electrical equipment, HMI/SCADA, etc.
- Design and development skills using CAD tools
- Windows operating system administration skills
- Ability to assess critical situations and make strategic decisions for safety
- Time and project management skills
- PLC programming skills (DISTECH, SCHNEIDER, SIEMENS, etc.)
- Supervision development skills (PC Vue, Codra Panorama, EC-Net, etc.)
- Configuration of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
We offer a competitive annual gross salary of €45,000 based on experience, a 37-hour workweek, 12 RTT days, and a company vehicle. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
