Job Title: Senior JavaScript Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a skilled JavaScript Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services Team in Paris. As a seasoned professional in development and customer integrations, you'll work with enterprise brands and their SEO teams on JavaScript SEO setup and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Botify customers with their JavaScript SEO setup, leveraging our Enterprise SEO Platform.
  • Work with SEO Success Managers and Account Teams to ensure clients using new Botify SEO products are properly supported from a JavaScript SEO perspective.
  • Participate in the definition and improvement of the onboarding and post-live process with the Customer Experience team.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex customer web page rendering issues within our Advanced Products.
Requirements:
  • ~3+ years of experience as a Front End/JavaScript Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or configuration languages (Nunjucks, Mustache).
  • General knowledge in network and protocols (SSL, DNS, TLS, TCP, IP).
  • Prior exposure to CDNs (Akamai, Cloudflare, Cloudfront, Fastly), setup, behavior, and cache management.
  • Exposure to network components and web servers (haproxy, varnish, nginx, apache, nodejs).
  • Debugging tools: ChromeDevTools, PostMan, Code Review Tools (Linters).
  • Knowledge of networking command line tools (cURL, wGet).
  • Prior exposure to version control (Git, Github).

  • Understanding of SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to recognize when things can be done more efficiently.
  • You like to troubleshoot and investigate.
  • You can deliver on short-term projects for issue resolutions.
  • You want to contribute to long-term projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
