About the Role

Réseau DEF is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Saint-Priest. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and compliance of smoke extraction systems at client sites.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor repairs and replacements on smoke extraction systems, including seals, shutters, dampers, motors, switches, coils, fire doors, and more.
  • Carry out finishing works such as carpentry, plastering, and electrical work to install smoke extraction components, relay boxes, cable installations, ductwork, hoisting, drywall installation, ventilation creation, connections, and sealing.
  • Check and lubricate the mechanisms of Safety Action Devices (SADs) as needed, including fire doors, fire dampers, and transfer shutters.
  • Conduct thorough verifications of installed systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed daily visit reports for client signature.

We provide a company vehicle (valid driver's license required) and a mobile phone to support your work. You will receive comprehensive training on regulatory aspects of mechanical smoke extraction and have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians.

Your Qualifications:

  • Background in electrical engineering or electronics with experience in fire safety or HVAC.
  • Strong understanding of electricity, a curious mind, meticulous attention to detail, and familiarity with the construction industry are essential.
