Reporting directly to the Director of Support Quality at the Foundation's headquarters, the Specialist in Autism and Neurodevelopmental Support will play a crucial role in providing guidance, assistance, and training related to autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the uniformity and excellence of support services in the facilities, adhering to the highest professional standards.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions among professionals and supply appropriate resources for effective support.
- Assist teams in modifying environments to better serve the needs of residents.
- Perform assessments customized to individual profiles.
- Serve as a key resource in navigating complex situations and behaviors.
- Contribute to the development of training initiatives within your area of expertise.
- Engage in projects aimed at fostering partnerships related to autism.
The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in education or healthcare, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in the autism sector, along with specialized knowledge in the field. The role requires travel across the country to provide support to the Foundation's facilities.
The Fondation Perce-Neige is a recognized public utility institution committed to the care and support of individuals with mental, physical, or psychological disabilities. It also offers assistance to families impacted by disabilities and promotes scientific and medical research. The Foundation collaborates with various individuals and organizations that share similar objectives.
