Senior Underwriter

Within the Group Underwriting Department, we are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our team for specialty lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the profitability of our surety business line, reducing operational risk, and improving workflow and reporting tools.

• Analyze the risks associated with bonding facilities, including financial risk, contract performance, and collateral requirements.
• Determine the maximum risk under a bonding facility and coordinate decision-making with the Group Underwriting Department.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures defined by Coface and the regulator.
• Assist entities with portfolio analysis, subscription policy adaptation, and annual review of authorizations.

• Economic, Insurance, or Finance background with a Master's degree or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in underwriting and managing risks, with a strong understanding of surety lines.
• Capacity for synthesis and decision-making, with good team spirit and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute the strategy for surety lines, with a capacity for dialogue with entities and leadership skills.
• Good command of French and English, with Spanish being a plus.
