Showcase your expertise

Based at our Bordeaux Center and working alongside a team of specialists, you will act as the technical authority and representative for initiatives aimed at ensuring the technical compliance of vessels with relevant standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of vessels under construction.
  • Conducting inspections and factory audits of materials and equipment intended for vessels (including automation/electricity, mechanics, hydraulics).
  • Performing quality and production system audits.

As a true representative of Bureau Veritas' expertise, you will embody our commitments with both ambition and humility.

Regular travel within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region is necessary, and a vehicle will be provided for this purpose.

Qualifications

  • Degree in construction or naval engineering.
  • Knowledge in boilermaking/welding, propulsion and onboard systems, safety, electricity, and naval architecture.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, showcasing high autonomy and robust technical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer tools, along with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Attentive to the needs of both internal and external clients, adaptable, and a collaborative team member.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
