We are expanding our Consulting Services team and are seeking a Test Manager to contribute to our exciting projects and become a valued member of the Hitachi Solutions family.

The Test Manager will oversee a dedicated project, leading, guiding, and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of testing activities. This role involves formulating test strategies and plans for each testing phase and providing updates on testing progress.

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for test delivery, supported by the Project Support team, and reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Ensuring testing is delivered within agreed timelines and meets quality standards.
  • Managing test scope and adhering to established methodologies and project controls.
  • Organizing test meetings effectively and documenting minutes as necessary.
  • Reporting on test progress.
  • Ensuring that all work submitted by test team members meets the project's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily testing activities to ensure timely, quality, and budget compliance.
  • Developing Test Strategies and facilitating Test Workshops.
  • Creating Test Plans for various testing phases.
  • Planning, delegating, monitoring, and controlling all activities of the Test Team according to the Test plan.
  • Ensuring adequate resources are allocated throughout all phases of the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensuring adherence to the testing process and acceptance of all deliverables and milestones.
  • Acting as the primary contact for the Test Team and escalating necessary actions, issues, or risks to the Project Team/Steering Group.
  • Organizing and managing Test Meetings.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership qualities; serves as a role model and mentor to the test team.
  • Experience with defined testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing is a plus.
  • Structured and disciplined approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.
  • Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in French and English is essential.
