About the Role

GMR Safety is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the shipment of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Preparation: Assemble, package, and label orders according to client specifications and deadlines, adhering to company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and store merchandise, ensuring accurate and complete orders are shipped.
  • Quality Control: Verify the quality and accuracy of each shipped order, adhering to GMR Safety's quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Storage Optimization: Efficiently manage storage of products to minimize waste and maximize space.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare shipping documents and ensure accurate transactions in our system.
  • Inventory Audits: Participate in annual and periodic inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Logistics or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, experience with MRP software, and a strong understanding of logistics principles.
  • Personal Qualities: Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
