ROLE OVERVIEW
The Child Psychologist will be responsible for the assessment, analysis, and psychological support of minors involved in child protection initiatives. This position requires collaboration with various professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough evaluations and psychological monitoring of children under protective measures.
- Engage in multidisciplinary assessments to provide a holistic view of each child's needs.
- Offer expert guidance and support to medical, social, and educational teams.
- Facilitate therapeutic support and direct children towards appropriate therapeutic methodologies.
- Perform assessments aligned with the Child's Project framework.
- Deliver detailed written reports to assist in informed decision-making processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- In-depth understanding of the ethical standards governing psychological practice.
- Awareness of the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding child protection and the medical-social field.
- Familiarity with various psychological theories, including psychoanalysis, systemic approaches, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
- Strong interest in understanding both individual and group behaviors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, synthesize complex information, and utilize technology effectively, alongside strong active listening and empathy skills.
