We are seeking a highly skilled Software Control Engineer to join our team at Xtrac Ltd. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the requirements of our senior software engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver software projects on time and to specification, considering project cost and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the senior software engineer to ensure software development activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, new starters, and students.
- Ensure all software development activities are concluded in an appropriate manner, with thorough testing and validation.
- Attend training and conference events to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience as a software developer/engineer in an automotive engineering environment.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in C, C++, ESDL, and Python.
- Knowledge of code unit testing using tools such as Tessy.
- Understanding of verification and validation techniques, including MC/DC, SIL, PIL, HIL, and test rigs.
