The Role

We are building a state-of-the-art Data Platform that transfers satellite data to the cloud, where we process, enrich, and deliver analysis-ready geospatial data to internal and external customers. As our senior cloud engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the different components of this Cloud-Native Geospatial Data Platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with other cloud engineers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using modern technologies such as Python, S3, Docker, Terraform, Zarr, Cloud-Optimized GeoTiffs, STAC, and PostGIS.
  • Maintaining a state-of-the-art cloud environment for all engineering sections of the company.
  • Evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Mentoring cloud engineers to help them reach their potential.
About You

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and inquisitive team player who is passionate about DevOps, infrastructure-as-a-code, CI/CD, TDD, and all tools that help deliver better products with less effort.

You should have a proven track record in building data platforms in fast-moving environments and be confident and experienced with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS (or alike), specifically S3, EKS, EC2, and IAM.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the EO sector and/or NewSpace startups.
  • Sysadmin, DevOps, and/or networking experience.
