Senior Finance Leader

DAZN is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Leader to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading finance for France and Belgium, partnering with senior management and working with external stakeholders at sports leagues and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial and commercial performance, delivering targets and enabling effective decision making.
  • Be a key member of the management team in understanding financial results and business KPIs, driving performance and maximising opportunities across all areas of the P&L.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, managing the business against those barometers and reporting actual results.
  • Be the Finance owner and expert on commercial contracts, large-scale distribution deals, and rights agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including distributors and rightsholders.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reviews, analysing financial performance against benchmarks and highlighting risks, opportunities, and insights.
  • Influence and assist divisional management with evaluating, negotiating, and contracting new opportunities and contracts.
  • Play a lead role in establishing and maintaining a strong culture of governance and control across the business.
You'll have:
  • Senior-level experience in finance, with experience operating in senior finance positions.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives on key strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities.
  • Proven experience of managing and motivating a hardworking group of finance analysts and business partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships.
  • Experience in a subscription business, with a detailed understanding of acquisition, churn, and ARPU metrics.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic/business acumen.
  • Pro-active and able to operate in ambiguous and changing situations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with great leadership skills.
