Responsibilities:

Axway is on the lookout for an Architect to join our Professional Services Office in the EMEA region. The PSO Team works closely with product management, sales, and presales to deliver technical expertise during both pre-sales and project execution.

  • Lead the definition of comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Develop solution visions and advocate for how these solutions meet both technical and business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather customer requirements and identify critical business challenges.
  • Prepare and present the company's solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the global team to ensure alignment.
  • Support Axway PSO initiatives, including design assistance for complex scenarios, architectural guidance, customer health assessments, and advisory services.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and contribute to the company's technical direction while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Serve as a mentor and potentially lead a team on intricate opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, services, and product management teams regarding customer and partner initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector in comparable roles, preferably with a software or solutions vendor.
  • Proficient in Managed File Transfer (MFT) products such as Axway Secure Transport, XFB Gateway, Interchange, Transfer CFT, GoAnywhere MFT, IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, etc.
  • Familiarity with message-oriented service patterns including SOAP, REST, SOA, and message buses like MQ and Tibco.
  • Experience with EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
  • Knowledge of enterprise security standards and identity management, including PKI infrastructure, SSO best practices, LDAP, SAML, OpenID, multifactor authentication, OAuth, etc.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, SFTP, PESIT, etc.
  • Hands-on development experience with languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, Bash, and REST.
  • A broad understanding of mobile, cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions, as well as containerization and deployment platforms (Bluemix, Azure, AWS, etc.).
