Axens is seeking an Equipment Industrialization and Development Engineer to join its Project Operations Business Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing projects to qualify various types of equipment and their manufacturers, ensuring the coordination of tasks for each subject following their progress.
The Equipment Industrialization and Development Engineer will work closely with the team to share multidisciplinary technical knowledge and experience acquired in previous positions.
The first step of a project involves gathering needs, validating commercial interest, and technical potential of the equipment. A second step is to ensure the feasibility of design and select dedicated suppliers able to manufacture the equipment according to the needs and rules of Axens.
The main tasks of the Equipment Industrialization and Development Engineer will include:
- Development of new proprietary equipment, particularly on Axens' new low carbon licenses.
- Planning and managing the steps of the development.
- Assessing equipment needs and requirements, taking into account multidisciplinary technical aspects.
- Selecting and establishing relationships with suppliers in collaboration with purchases.
- Establishing offers relating to new equipment or diagrams of new packages, intended to be added to the panel of proprietary equipment.
- Setting up design documents, specifications, and tools for the future realization of the equipment.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance of proprietary equipment.
- Industrializing and improving proprietary equipment using a continuous improvement approach.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a multidisciplinary technical field, such as Process Skid Packages, Mechanical, Rotating Equipment, Static Equipment, Instrumentation, and Process. They will have participated in the production of equipment or packages within engineering or at a manufacturer, and have worked in the operation or participated in the design of refining/petrochemical, gas, energy units, or other industries.
The Equipment Industrialization and Development Engineer will bring a sense of service and availability, combined with interpersonal skills and a spirit of analysis and rigor. They will be enthusiastic to work in a team, have organizational capacity, sense of listening, and strength of conviction with internal and external stakeholders. They will also have analytical skills, good writing and communication skills, and be curious and inventive, open to all technologies.
