Regulatory Strategy and Policy Role

Citi's Regulatory Strategy and Policy team is seeking an experienced professional to join its ranks. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's regulatory strategy and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to analyze regulatory landscapes and identify key challenges and opportunities.
  • Engage with regulators, trade associations, and other internal and external stakeholders to execute Citi's advocacy strategies.
  • Lead the Regulatory Strategy for Advocacy (RSA) process to provide consistency and completeness over Citi's engagement on regulatory consultations.
  • Represent Citi in trade associations and industry forums to align industry perspectives with Citi's priorities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a global, complex, and matrix-driven institutional financial services firm or a related regulatory body.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with UK and/or key regulatory bodies, preferably in similar roles of regulatory advocacy or in regulatory implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills, preferably combined with experience in or with large international banks; in-depth knowledge of certain Business areas and their regulatory context or willingness to develop this.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including senior management, business and product teams, functions, and legal entity leadership.
