Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Development to join our Quality Directorate in Toulouse, France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and products, and contributing to the development of our supplier management processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the quality function and assess suppliers during the tendering phase, contributing to the selection decision.
- Evaluate suppliers' capacity, capability, weaknesses, and identify risks, launching corresponding recovery plans.
- Lead and manage product and process audits/assessments on the product and service life cycle, industrial/production and after-sales.
- Manage supplier approval, ensuring that suppliers are compliant with Airbus requirements and airworthiness regulations.
- Drive, monitor, and support new product introduction, industrial changes (transfer of work) to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase.
- Accountable for securing Crisis management methodology deployment at Airbus suppliers and Midterm projects to secure sustainability of Delivery and to ensure supplier's performance targets are achieved.
- Seek opportunities to apply lessons learned to continually develop Airbus supplier management processes and competencies through identification and engagement of best practice and innovative solutions.
- Guarantee the conformity of a product/service to the Airbus quality requirements.
- Contribute to the corresponding Multi-Functional Team (MFT) from end to end.
- 10 years of experience within Aerospace industry, 10 years minimum in an aerospace auditing role or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Very strong knowledge of the Purchasing and/or industrial, Supply Chain & Quality Management environment and processes.
- Strong expertise on APQP, Quality tools, RCCA methodologies, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Deep knowledge of airworthiness regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Safety Management System.
- Know how to analyze and follow production, and statistical data.
- Strong project management, manufacturing processes in aeronautic industry knowledge and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent time management skills and the proven ability to prioritize work.
- A positive attitude, self-motivated, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS pack office and SAP (PGI & MM modules).
- Assertiveness and diplomacy.
- Availability and flexibility for international traveling - 120 days per year.
- Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus).
