About the Job

Scaleway is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and scalability of our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving production issues, implementing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Create and optimize tools and documentation to diagnose and remediate production incidents
  • Troubleshoot high-impact issues and take on-call responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality service for customers through observability and monitoring technologies
  • Manage product lifecycles and implement best practices for stability, resiliency, scalability, security, and performance
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a developer in Go, Python, or Rust
  • Experience in system programming with scripting languages (bash, Python)
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production systems failures
  • Strong understanding of computer networks, Linux systems, and cloud environments
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and continuous deployment
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems
  • Knowledge of one cloud platform and related use-cases
