Your Role: R&D Test Engineer for Network Management Systems (NMS)
As part of the Transport R&D Test and Requirement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our NMS solutions. Reporting to the Test Team Leader, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Contributing to user stories defined by the product owner
- Developing comprehensive test cases and implementing automated tests using Robot Framework
- Conducting manual testing for initial runs and scenarios not suitable for automation
- Maintaining the automated test database and ensuring its accuracy
- Participating in test campaigns based on both automated and manual testing
- Identifying, reporting, and managing issues encountered during testing
- Collaborating with software and hardware developers to resolve identified problems
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to testing procedures and results
- Actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of our CI/CD platform
Your Profile:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced test engineer with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools. You possess:
- 5+ years of experience as a test engineer in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Robot Framework, web-oriented libraries, GitLab, Jira/Xray, Python, Java (basic understanding), JSON REST APIs, continuous integration (GITLab CI), and Linux fundamentals
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic international work environment
